Our Story

Queer heart. Brazilian soul. Handmade art.

Queer House was born from a desire to bring queer joy into our homes, bodies, and hearts through handmade art that celebrates identity, resilience, and beauty.

I'm a queer Latina immigrant who spent much of my life feeling like I didn’t belong. It wasn’t until I reconnected with my queerness through art that I began to feel truly at home within myself. Art became my path to healing after a childhood filled with challenges and a life that never quite felt right.

Growing up, I was often punished for thinking outside the box. My creativity was misunderstood and dismissed. After years of inner work and navigating lifelong mental health challenges, with the support of my community and a fantastic therapist, I reclaimed my creativity. I began to see it as a source of power, not shame.

Queer House is an expression of healing. It's where my Brazilian roots, queer identity, and love for handmade art converge. It's a place where queerness can live out loud: on our walls, bodies, shelves, and in our expressions. Here, we don’t shrink, but shine.

Because our homes aren’t just where we live; they’re reflections of who we are. And our bodies? They’re the homes we carry through the world. This art is for every queer person who has ever felt out of place. You belong here.

With every earring and every decor piece, I hope to share that sense of joy and pride.

Welcome home ❤️
